Mr. Rogers is a broker with CFR who has 50 years experience in the real estate business. Prior to joining CFR, Mr. Rogers owned and managed a commercial brokerage and development firm and from 1972 to 1983 he was the trustee for a real estate investment trust (REIT) that was listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
His areas of specialization include: commercial brokerage sales, commercial and industrial land assemblage and property management. In 1996, he won the Golden Triangle Award for the top industrial producer in the Northeast Florida Realtor’s Association. Projects he has completed include: Land Assembly for - Independent Life (now Modis) (750,000SF office tower) and BellSouth (1 million SF office tower); Sales for – Jacksonville Electric (400,000SF office) and the City of Jacksonville (Gator Bowl 20 acre waterfront site); and development of – Lake Asbury (1800 acre residential site including dam construction) and Corporate Square (400 acre mixed use project).
Mr. Rogers graduated from Georgia Tech and Harvard Business School. He holds the CCIM real estate designation and is a licensed Florida real estate broker. His professional and civic affiliations include: Appraisal Institute – MAI state certified general real estate appraiser, Institute of Real Estate Management, CPM and the American Society of Real Estate Counselors, former director of the local United Way, member of Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, director of Jacksonville Symphony Association, former director of St. Lukes Hospital, Bolles School, Daniel Memorial Home, Florida Children’s Home Society, and the Museum of Science and History.
